Tanya Gray – Director
Working with business owners and senior management teams on HR and Strategy is Tanya’s passion. With a background in HR, recruitment, sales and adult education Tanya combines the skills and knowledge to add value to her clients’ businesses at a variety of levels. Tanya is a member of the Institute of Directors, she has a BA, a Certificate In Small Business Management and Money Management and has taught Small Business Management to entrepreneurs. Tanya is accredited in Career Development and Psychometric profiling and is completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources.
Being part of the team and understanding where the business has been, where it is now and where it is heading is crucial for the HR strategy we implement, as is having great relationships with all of the members of her clients’ businesses.
Working as an HR partner is incredibly rewarding, we get to play an integral role in these businesses assisting to achieve growth targets and identifying and improving efficiencies. Managing people is a complex task at the best of times and coaching our clients on how to best approach situations and seeing results is wonderful!

Sheralyn Guy – Business Consultant
Sheralyn has a wealth of knowledge and experience in human resources, project & program management, people leadership, process redesign/improvement, business transformation, operational management and risk & compliance management.
She has previously lead and managed multiple business transformations and run large compliance programs. She has worked in several global corporate organisations as well as supported many small to medium size businesses in various industries.
Sheralyn is skilled in Lean and Six Sigma process improvement methodologies which are vital to businesses wanting to improve their efficiency and profitability. Sheralyn is passionate about unearthing the full potential of people and organisations.
Kelly Hughes – HR Consultant
A generalist HR Manager with extensive experience in all aspects of HR. Kelly works in partnership with business owners to provide specialist coaching, support, and key advice to all parties and stakeholders, no matter the level within the business. Kelly appreciates that no two businesses are the same and is passionate about implementing strategies that work for the individual business. She prides herself on taking the time to understand the uniqueness of any business that she works with and tailoring her approach accordingly. Kelly is a dynamic, confident, independent and effective HR manager.
She is highly organised and efficient, demonstrating the highest levels of motivation required to achieve results and meet required timelines.
Pat Patterson – HR Advisor
Pat is an experienced HR professional with an extensive background in Human Resources providing employment related advice to support business objectives. Her background includes exposure to a broad range of industries and working environments including construction, infrastructure, forestry, vocational education, local government, insurance, sales and marketing, professional services and healthcare.
Pat’s sound knowledge of NZ employment law and operational HR experience has enabled her to provide coaching and advice to business owners, managers, and teams on a broad range of workplace employment related matters within a variety of situations and environments.
Cathy Cooper – HR Assistant
Cathy worked as an Executive Assistant for 15 years but has spent the last 3 years working locally as a Human Resources Manager, she had experience in all aspects of administration and a wealth of knowledge in Human Resources. Cathy successfully completed her New Zealand diploma in Human Resources in 2016 and is passionate about the HR industry, thrives on a challenge and loves meeting new people.
Originally from the UK, Cathy arrived in New Zealand with her husband and two young children. In her spare time, she is often seen around the beaches walking her Border Terrier dogs and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
