ConsultingHQ was formed after seeing the need in so many businesses for expert HR advice but without having the need to employ someone full time.

We are now the trusted go to group for clients NZ wide for all sizes and industries. Lean and Marketing Consulting have also joined the ConsultingHQ services, making us a one stop shop for our clients. RecuitNZ (also managed by Tanya Gray) works alongside this team to provide recruitment support and VisaAide (managed by Cameron Gray-Tanya’s husband) provides NZ and Australian Immigration assistance to clients and also their employees.

Working with business owners and senior management teams on HR and Strategy is Tanya’s passion. With a background in HR, recruitment, sales and adult education Tanya combines the skills and knowledge to add value to her clients’ businesses at a variety of levels. Tanya is a member of the Institute of Directors, she has a BA, a Certificate In Small Business Management and Money Management and has taught Small Business Management to entrepreneurs. Tanya is accredited in Career Development and Psychometric profiling and is completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources.

Being part of the team and understanding where the business has been, where it is now and where it is heading is crucial for the HR strategy we implement, as is having great relationships with all of the members of her clients’ businesses.

Working as an HR partner is incredibly rewarding, we get to play an integral role in these businesses assisting to achieve growth targets and identifying and improving efficiencies. Managing people is a complex task at the best of times and coaching our clients on how to best approach situations and seeing results is wonderful!

Sheralyn has a wealth of knowledge and experience in human resources, project & program management, people leadership, process redesign/improvement, business transformation, operational management and risk & compliance management.

She has previously lead and managed multiple business transformations and run large compliance programs. She has worked in several global corporate organisations as well as supported many small to medium size businesses in various industries.

Sheralyn is skilled in Lean and Six Sigma process improvement methodologies which are vital to businesses wanting to improve their efficiency and profitability. Sheralyn is passionate about unearthing the full potential of people and organisations.

Sheralyn also has more than 10 years of business ownership experience so is well placed to assist your business and team achieve their goals.

Pat is an experienced HR professional with an extensive background in Human Resources providing employment related advice to support business objectives. Her background includes exposure to a broad range of industries and working environments including construction, infrastructure, forestry, vocational education, local government, insurance, sales and marketing, professional services and healthcare.
Pat’s sound knowledge of NZ employment law and operational HR experience has enabled her to provide coaching and advice to business owners, managers and teams on a broad range of workplace employment related matters within a variety of situations and environments.
With strong project and time management skills Pat works collaboratively and in partnership with managers on a diverse range of HR work such as remuneration and reward systems and processes, organisational structures and restructures, compliance and performance management with the aim of assisting them to achieve their business goals and objectives.

Cathy worked as an Executive Assistant for 15 years but has spent the last 3 years working locally as a Human Resources Manager, she had experience in all aspects of administration and a wealth of knowledge in Human Resources. Cathy successfully completed her New Zealand diploma in Human Resources in 2016 and is passionate about the HR industry, thrives on a challenge and loves meeting new people.

Originally from the UK, Cathy arrived in New Zealand with her husband and two young children. In her spare time, she is often seen around the beaches walking her Border Terrier dogs and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
