We’re NZ owned and operated, and have been providing HR support services for 15 years.

Our HR support team has over 118 years combined experienced, and are here to help with regular, proactive HR business support, as well as assisting with any urgent HR situations.

Tanya Gray

Director

Working with business owners and senior management teams on HR and Strategy is Tanya’s passion. With a background in HR, recruitment, sales and adult education Tanya combines the skills and knowledge to add value to her clients’ businesses at a variety of levels.

Tanya is a member of the Institute of Directors, she has a BA, a Certificate In Small Business Management and Money Management and has taught Small Business Management to entrepreneurs. Tanya is accredited in Career Development and Psychometric profiling and is completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources.

Being part of the team and understanding where the business has been, where it is now and where it is heading is crucial for the HR strategy we implement, as is having great relationships with all of the members of her clients’ businesses.

Working as an HR partner is incredibly rewarding, we get to play an integral role in these businesses assisting to achieve growth targets and identifying and improving efficiencies. Managing people is a complex task at the best of times and coaching our clients on how to best approach situations and seeing results is wonderful!

There are no two days the same in what we do which is what I love!

Vanessa has an extensive HR Generalist background providing senior business partner support across a diverse range of businesses including Retail, Professional Services, Banking, Finance, and FMCG sectors.

Working with Leadership teams and building their capability to drive high performing teams is a strong focus and she is passionate about client service and optimising business results.

She has extensive knowledge in change management, strategy implementation, employee engagement and communication, leadership development, learning and development and coaching. Vanessa enjoys working alongside clients to understand their business goals and partnering with them to engage their teams to achieve results.

HR Consultant

Ruth has over 25 years of general HR and organisational development experience. Ruth has worked effectively at all levels in organisations, from individual staff, leadership teams, executive management and boards. Her experience spans a diverse range of businesses including construction, engineering, banking, security, power distribution, manufacturing and logistics.

Ruth has broad experience in all things HR including employee relations, recruitment and selection, project management, change management, leadership development, strategy development and implementation, culture and engagement.

She offers deep experience in fostering positive workplace cultures, leading change, and improving people performance across the board. And she has the rare ability to work at both strategic and operational levels with intelligence and ease.

HR and Recruitment Coordinator

Dylan Blick holds a Bachelor of Commerce in HR and Management from Victoria University of Wellington. He brings a well-rounded background, having worked across both public and private sectors, which has equipped him with valuable perspective on workforce dynamics.

With extensive experience in recruitment as well as broad exposure to generalist HR and learning and development, Dylan is eager to expand these skills in his role at People Inc. Having worked in internal HR roles, he has a clear understanding of the challenges businesses face and how to deliver practical, effective solutions.

Dylan’s thoughtful approach and focus on building strong relationships ensure he delivers tailored support to every organisation he works with.

Pat Patterson

HR Advisor

Pat is an experienced HR professional with an extensive background in Human Resources providing employment related advice to support business objectives.

Her background includes exposure to a broad range of industries and working environments including construction, infrastructure, forestry, vocational education, local government, insurance, sales and marketing, professional services and healthcare.

Pat’s sound knowledge of NZ employment law and operational HR experience has enabled her to provide coaching and advice to business owners, managers, and teams on a broad range of workplace employment related matters within a variety of situations and environments.

Rachael Coates

Office & Finance Manager

Rachael has an extensive background in the FMCG industry, working with a number of leading multinational and local businesses.

Running her own company allowed Rachael to develop her business management skills, leading her into finance roles. Rachael’s most recent position was company accountant at a local sail loft.

Rachael and her husband live in Algies Bay, Warkworth, where they love to entertain and enjoy the sea views over the bay. She has a love for the water, mainly through yacht racing and cruising, and more recently from exploring Kawau Bay and the Hauraki Gulf on their Sealegs.

HR Assistant

Cathy worked as an Executive Assistant for 15 years but has spent the last 3 years working locally as a Human Resources Manager, she had experience in all aspects of administration and a wealth of knowledge in Human Resources.

Cathy successfully completed her New Zealand diploma in Human Resources in 2016 and is passionate about the HR industry, thrives on a challenge and loves meeting new people.
Originally from the UK, Cathy arrived in New Zealand with her husband and two young children. In her spare time, she is often seen around the beaches walking her Border Terrier dogs and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
