Manager Essentials training has helped me prioritise my time better as a manager and has given me insights on how to work with different personalities (or DISC profiles) - you can't take the same approach with everyone. It's also prompted me to set up one on ones with my team to find out how things are going and give feedback and praise - something I don't always otherwise have time for in a busy workshop."

I really enjoyed the course, I enjoyed finding out about the different leadership styles, and the practical advice on how to manage a team. Using these methods have given me more confidence in my management abilities and has given me better management tools to use for my team and how to get the most out of them. ConsultingHQ’s services have been very helpful in areas of HR and lean manufacturing expertise.

I liked the way we went straight into discussion around management versus leadership and what practical steps and processes we could put in place quickly, like the Communications plan. Learning about my DISC profile and seeing this in others assisted me in completing staff performance reviews and putting training plans in place. I liked the course format with other managers from different businesses but at a similar level and the way the course presenter led us through the program keep it moving and grounded in reality.
Overall, I found the course very useful and would recommend to others.
